Strawberry Time...

In mid-June, our berry harvest begins. The season usually lasts three to four weeks. All of our strawberries are sold on a Pick Your Own basis.  We do not have ready picked strawberries.

Our strawberries are one of our most delicate and flavorful crops.

Note:  We accept cash or checks only.  We are not able to take credit cards.

Strawberries are very perishable and need to be handled gently. Protect the berries from direct sunlight, especially in your car. Store the berries in the coolest place in your home, in the refrigerator, on the basement floor or similar place. Do not rinse off the berries until you are ready to use them. Remove stems after washing the berries to use. Grade your berries; use the ripest ones first.

Responding to the current news reports on a possible link between ADHD, organophosphate exposure and strawberries,

I would like to state for the record that Barthel Fruit Farm does NOT use organophosphate's on our strawberries.  We have never used organophosphates on strawberries.
